This rendition boasts school-inspired colours as a nod to the brand’s “Be True To Your School” campaign in the 80s. The original colourways already returned in the past few years, and Nike’s adding more! This Nike Dunk Low “UCLA Blue Jay University Gold” combines Blue and Gold as a nod to the UCLA Bruins. The colour combination also applies to the Golden State Warriors, the 2021-2022 NBA Champions.

The Nike Dunk keeps making headlines as Nike introduces new styles aside from insanely hyped collabs every now and then. Halfway through 2022 and the brand brought popular NCAA basketball teams’ uniform colours such as this UCLA rendition.

Originally introduced in 1985, the Nike Dunk became one of the most popular sneakers in recent memory when Nike brought more colourways. As a basketball shoe, the Dunk graced hardwood courts of collegiate teams thanks to the “Be True To Your School” campaign. It seems like Nike’s going back in that direction with more school-inspired colourways for the latter half of the year.
