This colourway looks familiar for all we know, but this is actually a new release from Nike. In the past two to three years we saw the resurgence of Nike Dunks and it looks like there’s no more stopping the shoe. This Nike Dunk Low “White Grey Navy” rocks multiple bright accents atop a neutral-toned body.
Some people may be tired of all the Dunk releases but Nike has no plans to cease production. Just like the Air Jordan 1, the Nike Dunk continues to arrive in old and new colourways. This is the perfect formula to achieve best-selling status throughout the year.
The Nike Dunk first came out in 1985 as a basketball shoe. Nike released a bunch of hoop shoes during this specific year, bringing in the likes of the Air Jordan 1 and Terminator. While Michael Jordan rocked his Jordans, collegiate players showcased the Nike Dunks. Before officially launching as the Dunk, the shoe was initially called the “College Colour High”.
Nike further marketed the Dunk thanks to the “Be True to Your School” campaign where teams rocked their own Dunk colourways. Two-tone styles became popular thanks to this shoe and continue to work well for modern Dunk releases.
While people grew tired of the Panda, Nike has more plans to give us new colourways like this one.
The Nike Dunk Low “White Grey Navy” features a White pebbled leather base with Grey suede overlays. Midnight Navy makes up the Swooshes while Aqua Blue adorns the mini Swoosh on the forefoot. Nike labels in the heel come in Red to stand out.
You can cop your latest Dunk pair this April 2023.
