Whether it reminds you of vintage Nike trainers donning the Yellow and Blue, this new model surely stands out. The Nike Free Terra Vista “Sanded Gold / Goldtone” joins the Nike Free roster as an outdoor all-around shoe. Its distinct colours will get a lot of people asking where to cop a pair!

Nike brings back the quiet but consistent Nike Free technology for their new functional trainer. Lightweight, fast, and flexible, that’s exactly what you would expect in this Nike Free Terra Vista. It contains recycled content too, as part of the brand’s Move to Zero and Next Nature initiatives.

Before the stacked Zooms and multiple foam layers, Nike had a minimalist cushioning setup that’s fast and reliable. Suitable for low-distance runs, Nike Free focused on keeping the athletes running smoothly and without restrictions. Nike Free took inspiration from the natural motion of running barefoot – where the flexible transition brings more speed, at the same time giving enough cushioning where needed.

The technology works by implementing wide and deep flex grooves all over the sole. As runners bend their feet when running, the sole flexes naturally and in full motion.

The Nike Free Terra Vista hopes to bring that same attribute on an outdoor trail shoe. While it’s not quite like an ACG, the Nike Free Terra Vista looks to be an all-around trainer fit for the wilderness. Mesh makes up the base, while synthetic leather overlays reinforce the rest of the exterior. Large perforations on the sides ensure your feet stay dry all day.

The soft foam midsole works in tandem with the Nike Free sole – where a waffle traction pattern provides grip on any surface.

This new Nike Free Terra Vista “Sanded Gold / Goldtone” appears in a Yellowish Gold makeover. Hints of Midnight Navy adorn the Swoosh, and heel panel.
