Nike’s latest signature sneaker, the Ja 1, gets more vibrant colourways through the summer. The upcoming Nike Ja 1 Ember Glow is a new iteration of the latest Nike signature silhouette and it features vibrant red accents through the panels.

The Nike JA 1 Ember Glow is a classic silhouette with a vibrant appeal. The upper features mesh with leather overlays on the forefoot and a TPU Swoosh. Red is featured throughout the panels to give it an eye-catching look. The tongue flaunts Grizzlies’ young star Ja Morant’s logo, which spells out “JA” in a unique shape.

The silhouette joins Nike’s exclusive signature roster, which began with the Air Jordan 1 in 1985. It originally debuted in 2023 and looks to replace the now-defunct Nike Kyrie line. It has been released in various colourways and editions ever since. We can expect more pairs soon as Nike halted some sales of the shoe due to Morant’s controversy.

As a debut signature shoe, Nike incorporated a soft foam midsole with a rectangular Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. Multidirectional traction patterns on the outsole ensure a solid grip when playing basketball.

The Ember Glow edition features a rich red hue as its main colour, with blue to complete the design. It also comes with a contrasting white midsole and black outsole for a classic finish.
