Nike continues its strong partnership with Ja Morant by rolling out the Nike Ja 2 “Scratch,” a colourway that celebrates both his explosive play and the Memphis Grizzlies’ throwback identity. Building on the buzz of the Nike Ja 1, which debuted in early 2023 with a bold “Scratch” edition, the Ja 2 raises the stakes by bringing those signature claw mark details right into the design language.

This release arrives dressed in Rapid Teal, a vibrant shade drawn from the Grizzlies’ vintage uniforms. University Red pops on the Swoosh, adding sharp contrast, while Ale Brown accents appear on Morant’s peak logo at the tongue. While the earlier Black Label edition offered actual cut-outs in the upper, this general release opts for overlay graphics, giving the clawed effect without the premium price tag.

The midsole carries on the clawed motif, with the graphic slashing down into the white foam. Nike rounds out the performance side with Air Zoom cushioning and a tough, tractor-inspired outsole that grips the court with every pivot and cut.
