Nike TN Air Max Plus "Gold Black Gum" DZ4501-700

Autumn themes dominate this brand new Nike TN Air Max Plus colourway! 2022 marks the 35th anniversary of Air Max technology in general. And this celebration includes fire colourways across all Air Max models! The Nike TN Air Max Plus “Gold Black Gum” features Gold uppers with complementary hues of Black and Gum. Highly reminiscent of the new Nike Air Max Scorpion “Wheat”.

Nike spins the colour wheel and lands on the neutral side in this Air Max Plus rendition. A monochromatic body composed of Wheat highlights this desert-like makeover. Colourways like this one are a must-cop, especially during the timely Autumn season.

Tuned Air Max was a major upgrade for Air Max fans who need cushioning and stability in their kicks. The Nike TN Air Max Plus was the flagship silhouette of the Tuned Air Max models, officially making its debut in 1998.

Tuned 1 designer Sean McDowell took sketches off his archives to construct the Air Max Plus. The main design aesthetic took inspiration from wavy palm trees, hence the wavy TPU overlays atop the lightweight mesh upper. A thick plastic heel shank placed on the midfoot resembles the shape of a whale’s tail.

Visible Air bubbles on the heel and forefoot utilise rubber hemispheres for a more stable ride.

This Nike TN Air Max Plus “Gold Black Gum” features a Gold mesh upper with TPU overlays. The Black lining and midsole add more neutral colours to the theme while the Gum rubber outsoles finish things off.
