Nike Waffle Debut WMNS "White / Black" DH9523-100

Just like real waffles during breakfast, we can’t ever get enough of Nike Waffle models! This monumental running shoe technology invented by Bill Bowerman remains relevant in the modern era. The new Nike Waffle Debut “White / Black” arrived in 2022 and joins the superb lineup of vintage-inspired Waffle trainers. We’re already seeing a lot of potential just like the Waffle One!

While the waffle sole originally made its debut in early 1973; this new Nike Waffle Debut (yes, Debut is its name) brings a fresh new look to the Nike Sportswear selections. And the brand has a lot of colourways set throughout the year for both men’s and women’s sizes!

Staying true to Nike’s running heritage in the 70s, the Nike Waffle Debut boasts an old-school build inspired by the Nike Daybreak. The retro feel received a modern treatment in the form of a wedged foam midsole and a streamlined upper.

The Nike Waffle Debut features a soft nylon upper base and reinforced with suede overlays. Suede covers the toe and the heel panel – just the way we like it. A leather Swoosh and eyestay complete the high-quality finish.

Nike tags adorn the heel and tongue in vintage fashion.

The foam midsole arrives with an updated wedge to lift you up (literally and metaphorically). Furthermore, the raised midsole provides extra stability and support.

Thick waffle-shaped lugs on the sole complete the new Waffle Debut model.

This women’s Nike Waffle Debut “White / Black” in an all-white base with Sail White suede tones. A black waffle rubber sole sticks to the vintage theme of the shoe.

It’s available now on the Nike website as the Swoosh brand rolls out more colourways soon.
