The summer-ready hoop shoe, known as the ‘LaMel-Os’ colorway, has already been released. Now, it comes in the Hornets-friendly teal and purple combination called ‘Queen City,’ which is a follow-up to the MB.01 colourway from 2022. The exterior wings overlay features honeycomb patterns that gradually fade into the buzzworthy teal.

LaMelo Ball and PUMA reached an agreement in October 2020, just before the NBA draft. This partnership marked a significant milestone as LaMelo became the prominent face of PUMA basketball.
It was a crucial decision for the shoe company, as they aimed to compete with industry giants like Nike and Adidas.

Introducing the MB.02, LaMelo Ball’s second signature silhouette, which was released in 2021 to celebrate his Rookie of the Year accolade. The MB.02 showcases a unique design that incorporates elements reflecting LaMelo’s personality and style.

The over-built shoe is designed with an engineered mesh upper, a TPU heel clip, MB.02 branding, and PUMA branding details.

The player’s one-winged insignia, which also appears in white on the insoles, is embroidered on the purple tongue flaps. The player’s logo and “M.E.L.O.” are written in white over the back of the heels. The shoes are finished with two sets of laces in blue and white.
