adidas and Song For The Mute bring back the Adistar Cushion, reviving a mid-2000s running silhouette with a richly layered design. Part of the SS25 “Desert Rose” capsule, this limited-edition release embraces earth tones and experimental textures, making it a standout in the SFTM-004 collection.

The open mesh upper keeps things lightweight and breathable, while synthetic overlays and a pony hair toe cap introduce contrast and texture. A stitched nubuck cage runs across the midfoot, adding depth to the design. The textured 3-Stripes blend subtly into the sidewalls, complemented by an SFTM-004 tag on the lateral quarter panel. A dotted pattern on the heel panel reinforces the deconstructed aesthetic.

Branding details include co-branded Trefoil and SFTM labels on the tongue and sockliner, marking another high-profile collaboration between adidas and the Australian label. The chunky midsole features adiPRENE+ in the forefoot and adiPRENE in the heel, ensuring impact protection and long-lasting comfort.
