adidas teams up with Song for the Mute for a fresh take on the Superstar 82, blending heritage design with modern aesthetics. This exclusive collaboration reworks the classic silhouette with premium materials and earth-toned hues, aligning with SFTM’s “Desert Rose” theme from the 25.1 capsule collection.

A brown suede upper sets the tone, featuring a mix of contrasting textures on the lateral and medial panels. Black 3-Stripes and heel tabs provide bold contrast against the neutral base, while cream-coloured laces, eyelets, and lining soften the look. The iconic shell toe, a Superstar staple, blends into the design with a muted earthy finish.

Branding details stand out, with co-branded tongue and sockliner labels, an SFTM-005 tag on the outer foxing, and a Trefoil logo on the heel. The midsole and outsole feature asymmetrical brown tones, enhancing the sneaker’s layered, deconstructed feel. As a unique touch, adidas and SFTM add two extra eyelets, subtly extending the design toward the toe cap.
