Hugely popular, UK based global footwear and clothing supplier size? continues their incredibly productive year with another Nike collab. After some great sneaker collabs with various brands, size? graces the Swoosh once again with this Nike Air Huarache.
The Nike Air Huarache arrived in 1991 as a never before seen shoe. Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the Huarache boasts a neoprene ankle collar that hugs the foot. Its sock like build up helped runners and hoopers focus on their game without worrying about the fit of their creps. Aside from the neoprene upper, Nike made the shoe very light by stripping out excess materials in the rear and replacing them with a thick rubber clip.
The leather on the front panels of the Nike Air Huarache has always stayed durable and comfortable. It is one of the most popular “Swooshless” sneakers of all time. A hugely recognizable Air Huarache logo can be seen on the tongue.
Nike Air Huarache and ACG have been working hand in hand for many years. In 1991, the Nike ACG Air Mowabb came out using Huarache technology. Not surprising at all, the all terrain ACG sneaker was also a brainchild of Tinker Hatfield.
The ACG Air Terra, on the other hand was released as a low-cut trail running trainer in the 90s. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the eye-catching accents of the Air Terra return in 2021. Its unique colours of purple, yellow, black and orange adorn this classic looking Nike Air Huarache.
This size? x Nike Air Huarache ACG Air Terra sports a purple suede overlay and a mesh toe-box. The black neoprene upper blends well with the yellow and orange plastic heel clip. Yellow laces give the shoe a throwback vibe.
It’s finished off with a white foam midsole with black speckles and a waffle traction outsole.
