WMNS Nike Air Max 1 Crepe "Light Bone" FJ4735-001

Previewed a few months back, we finally have an official release date for these! It seems like Nike saw the popularity of the Crepe sole Air Max 1 and decided to bring a few more! This WMNS Nike Air Max 1 Crepe “Light Bone” goes all out with neutral tones while donning the iconic crepe sole. We hoped these came out in men’s sizes too!

The love for Air Max 1 is at its peak as the legendary silhouette celebrated Air Max Day 2023 with the return of the Big Bubble. This Crepe edition adds a luxurious aesthetic to the 1987 running trainer thanks to its crepe outsole. Don’t want to rock Clarks Wallabees? Wear this instead!

The Nike Air Max 1 is a comeback story everyone loves to see. It pioneered Air Max technology when it came out in 1987. Nike actually launched an initial AM1 in 1986 but had to revise as the big bubble became prone to popping.

With the Nike Air Max 90 stealing its thunder, the AM1 took a seat until it returned in the new era. Now, everyone wants a pair of the Air Max 1!

The Crepe version takes its design from the Air Max 1 Crepe Hemp which originally came out in 2004. In 2022, Nike retroed the design for the first time with improved uppers for durability. Nike released a bunch more Crepe editions in 2023 alone, including this one!

The WMNS Nike Air Max 1 Crepe “Light Bone” features a sail white canvas base with light bone suede midfoot overlays. Yellowish tones comprise the Swoosh and PU soles for an aged look. The brown crepe sole adds more details to the neutral-heavy colourway.
