An OG way back 2016 returns in 2022. The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Oreo / Black White” joins the fire colourways of Yeezy 350 V2s re-releasing in 2022. The likes of the Beluga, Blue Tint, and even the Zebra all came back true to form. It’s only been more than half a decade since the Yeezy 350 V2 debuted, and yet the impact of OG colourways never slowed down.
Taking a trip down memory lane, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Black / White” originally released in December 2016; just about a month after the Black Friday Pack debuted the all-black Primeknit upper with varying hues on the midfoot stripe. Now back like it never left, the Black and White rendition sets up for a March 2022 restock.
Launched in 2016, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 flexed essential updates to the predecessor. Primeknit and Boost were the premier mainstay features; but this time, a tighter upper weave with a signature “SPLY-350” on the midfoot emerged.
Underneath the lightweight upper is a thick and ribbed TPU midsole cage that houses the full-length Boost foam. Boost cushioning was at its peak during those times, and even became the top-rated cushioning system at some point. Because of this, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 was also praised for its comfort.
The grid-like outsole exposes portions of the Boost foam for even more impact protection.
This adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Oreo Black White” flaunts an all-black body with a white midfoot stripe. It’s one of the most minimalist and simplest colourways around, which made it even more popular. Now looking back to bring its former glory in the sneaker community, the colour scheme makes its way to retailers once more.
Keep an eye out for its release in March 2022.
