Rare Air Returns with the Air Jordan 4 LS “Tour Yellow” 2026

Jordan Brand is finally dipping back into its mid-2000s Lifestyle archive. Moving away from traditional Chicago Bulls palettes, the spotlight has shifted to the experimental LS releases of the era. The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” returns on September 5, marking the colourway’s first retro and celebrating twenty years since its 2006 debut.

Visually, the release remains faithful to the original, preserving its crisp white leather upper, stark black accents, and heavily speckled Tour Yellow midsole. The shape, however, reflects the updated build used on modern Air Jordan 4 retros.

The original’s signature details remain intact. A premium leather backtab anchors the heel, while a removable Velcro tongue patch reveals hidden “Rare Air” branding beneath, one of the distinctive features that helped elevate the 2006 release to hype status similar to the “Undefeated” 4s.

With plenty of Air Jordan 4 colourways set to arrive in 2026 alone, we can still expect some hype surrounding the “Tour Yellow”.
