Ronnie Fieg and ASICS are back at it again, this time linking up for the Kith x ASICS World’s Fair Collection, a project that ties directly into the grand opening of Kith’s new Chicago flagship. The theme ties to both Chicago and New York sharing history as hosts of the iconic World’s Fair.

The collection itself didn’t come together overnight. Fieg revealed that the process began with 36 different ASICS samples, which were eventually refined to just eight final pairs. Early previews highlight fresh takes on classics like the ASICS GEL-Lyte III, the GEL-Kayano 14, and the GEL-Lyte 3.1, all constructed with premium materials and colourways inspired by references tied to the World’s Fair narrative.

This isn’t the first time Fieg has marked a major Kith opening with a special sneaker project. When the Osaka flagship launched, New Balance collaborations carried the story. Now, for Chicago, ASICS takes centre stage. It’s become something of a tradition for each new Kith store to have its own commemorative drop.

With Chicago’s opening set for October 4th, the Kith x ASICS World’s Fair Collection will officially debut in-store before rolling out more widely. Between the storytelling, the premium builds, and the exclusivity of the first drop, this release is already shaping up as one of the most interesting collabs of 2025.
