Skepta Vibes Hit the Nike Air Max 90 “Metallic Copper”

Who remembers the Skepta x Nike Air Max 97 Ultra? Inspired by the legendary Air Tuned Max “Celery” from 1999, this collaboration is regarded by many to be the holy grail. And if you didn’t manage to secure it back in the day, Nike has revealed the perfect alternative with the Nike Air Max 90 “Metallic Copper.”

This Air Max 90‘s design starts with a “Black” mesh base. It’s then overlaid by synthetic panels throughout the entire trainer, showcasing a bold “Metallic Copper” colour scheme that shifts appearance depending on what angle you’re looking at it from. Additional green iridescent accents hit the tongue and lacing system, while “Dark Russet” hues offer up an autumnal aesthetic that’s sure to turn heads wherever you go.

Underfoot, the Air midsole has been completely blacked out, and it’s lined with a see-through rubber outsole that offers extra grip with every step. The sneaker is then finished off with a Nike Swoosh that shoots right through the lateral and medial sidewalls.
