Take a Deep Dive Into the Yeezy Aqua 50

Kanye West and adidas recently agreed that they will continuing releasing their remaining Yeezy inventory. Through this new contract, the German sportswear company has been dropping all of their YZY stock in seasonal intervals. This means that, not only have hyped colourways like the “Blue Tint” and “Zebra” been restocking, we’re also being blessed with all-new silhouettes too, such as the upcoming Yeezy Aqua 50.

The Ye-helmed brand is certainly no stranger when it comes to weird kicks, but the Aqua 50 is one of the weirdest ones that we’ve ever seen. Like a hybrid between the Yeezy Slide and the Foam Runner, these laceless shoes boast a sock-like construction that looks like they’re made from a thin foam-esque material.

Wavy gaps across the lateral and medial sides (as well as the silhouette’s actual name) lead us to believe that these have been designed for water-use. You can also find a seamless pull tab around the heel, so you can slip these on and take these off while on the go.

Revealed in two clean colour palettes including bone white and cream, this falls perfectly in line with Ye’s neutral aesthetic. According to the note seen above, they’re also made to be cost effective.

Not much else is known about the Yeezy Aqua 50, so make sure you keep it locked for more news as it develops.
