It’s wild to think that the Fear of God x adidas collaboration was announced all the way back in 2020. And now, almost three years later, we still haven’t seen much of anything yet. While Jerry Lorenzo has assured us that he’ll reveal everything very soon, before that happens, let’s take a sneak peek at the upcoming Fear of God x adidas Slides.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the German sportswear company’s Adilette silhouette, FOG’s version is painted in an all-white colour palette. The foot strap is crafted from a PU-coated synthetic material, and it’s decorated with three thick vertical stripes – a motif that will feature across the entire range.
Underfoot, the sole is infused with polyurethane for maximum comfort, and co-branded detailing is printed across the footbed just to remind you that this is no ordinary slip-on. It goes without saying, but these will come packed in a special edition shoebox and will drop alongside a whole selection of sneakers, apparel, and accessories.
Not much else is known about the Fear of God x adidas Slides at this moment in time. They look pretty simple, for sure, but everything that Lorenzo has ever designed is clean, minimal, and sleek, and that’s why everyone is obsessed with his brand. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation later this year, and just in case you’ve been wondering, this is how the adidas Adilette 22 fits.
