Before the Yeezy 500 made waves, before Kobe switched teams (from brands, not franchises) the KB8 III helped lay the groundwork. Now reborn as the adidas Crazy 3, legendary ’90s sneaker is stepping back into the spotlight with a futuristic new colourway that feels more like 2025 than Y2K.

Originally worn during Bryant’s chase for his first NBA ring, the Crazy 3 returns with all of the right throwback details. The glossy “Silver Metallic” leather upper is paired with breathable mesh panelling for the perfect balance of form and function, and adidas‘ legendary Three Stripes strike through the sidewalls in the form of cut-outs.

Black overlays on the collar and heel keep things grounded, while a two-piece grey tongue adds structure without overcomplicating the silhouette. It’s clean, it’s sharp, and it doesn’t try too hard.
Performance hasn’t been left in the past, either. The Crazy 3 still features that Feet You Wear tooling and reliable adiPRENE+ cushioning. It’s basically the same sole that featured on the YZY 500. The outsole mixes grey and black rubber with just enough grip to handle whatever your day throws at you.

Whether you’re revisiting it for nostalgia or discovering it for the first time, the adidas Crazy 3 “Silver Metallic” is expected to land sometime this May. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation, and be sure to keep it locked for your best chance to secure your size!
