The Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft “Ivory” is a Textural Triumph

Even though Jordan Brand‘s Craft line has only been around for a couple of months, it’s already been home to some of the most sought-after AJ1s to date, including the Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft “Ivory.” Bearing something of a resemblance to the mythical Dior collaboration, if you didn’t manage to cop back in 2019, this is the ultimate alternative.

Giving the Air Jordan 1 an extremely premium makeover, this sneaker strays away from the usual all-leather construction in favour of a suede and canvas combination. The base is painted in a light grey “Sea Glass” hue, and it’s overlaid by panels and panels of “Pale Ivory” throughout. Like the Blazer silhouette, this shoe boasts an exposed foam tongue that’s sure to turn heads wherever you go. This deconstructed aesthetic extends towards the winged basketball emblem as well, which features a cutout-like look.

Shifting your focus underfoot, the midsole is infused with Nike‘s Air technology for extra comfort and cushioning. It’s then finished off with speckled detailing, suggesting the use of Grind rubber. This is essentially rubber that has been collected during the manufacturing process and reused to make new trainers in hopes that less material will end up in our already overflowing landfills.

If you want the Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft “Ivory” in your rotation, then mark your calendars, as this coveted colourway is set to drop on March 30th. For your best chance to secure your size, keep it locked at Captain Creps!
