Whether you like it or not, double denim is back. Not only is it taking over the runways of Paris and Milan this season, it’s also dominatinf the sneakerverse with upcoming releases like the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Denim.” Inspired by classic Americana, here’s everything you need to know.
While most Air Jordan 1s feature full leather constructions, this special edition version is decked out completely in denim. Extending from the tip of the toebox all the way to the back of the heel, the jean-inspired fabric can be found absolutely everywhere.
A darker material hits the collar and Nike Swoosh, and further branding can be found around the ankle in the form of the iconic winged basketball. Underfoot, the all-white midsole is infused with Nike’s Air technology, and it’s rounded off with a gum rubber outsole, finalising the design.
Not much else is known about the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Denim” at this moment in time, but from what sneakerheads have said so far, this is destined to be a future classic. Expected to drop sometime this summer, be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
