Nike and Jordan Brand just took the wraps off of their Summer 2024 collection. And while there were plenty of coveted pairs that we just can’t wait to talk about, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Metallic Silver” was probably the one that stood out the most.
If you feel like you’ve seen this sneaker before, that’s probably because you kind of have. Referencing the legendary Air Jordan 1 High “Metallic Silver” from 2001, this grail-worthy shoe originally released exclusively in Japan. And while it did manage to get a global drop further down the line, if you want something that’s a little more versatile, this low-cut version has been made with you in mind.
Working on top of a “Neutral Grey” suede base, this Air Jordan 1 is overlaid by panels and panels of premium “Metallic Silver” leather along the toebox, heel, and Swoosh. “White” cotton laces tie everything together, and around the back, the iconic winged basketball emblem is encased in a see-through housing, just like the original pair from back in the day. Underfoot, the midsole is left nice and simple, and it’s infused with Air technology for additional comfort and cushioning with every step.
As it prepares to make its mark in Summer 2024, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Metallic Silver” stands ready to blend seamlessly into the collections. Dropping on June 1st, be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
