Whether it’s corduroy, nubuck, or even metallic foil, Jordan Brand has a history of experimenting with different fabrics and materials. And the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Velvet Black Toe” is their its colourway to do so. Giving Michael Jordan’s low-top flagship a premium makeover, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Just like the OG “Black Toe” from back in the day, this Air Jordan 1 Low works on top of a crisp white leather base and is overlaid by red panels around the collar and heel and black accents along the lacing system, toebox, and Swoosh. However, unlike the OG “Black Toe,” these have all been replaced with a soft, buttery velvet that’s guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go.
The iconic Jumpman logo hits the tongue, and the legendary winged basketball is embroidered on the heel. All of this then rests on top of a crisp Nike Air midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets, and it’s finished off with a rubber outsole that offers ample grip both on and off the court.
Expected to drop sometime in Autumn 2024, let us know if you’ll be copping the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Velvet Black Toe,” and make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
