Earlier this year, Nike and Jordan Brand stunned the sneakerverse by bringing back the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement.” Unveiled as part of the coveted “Reimagined” line, this re-release celebrated the legendary silhouette’s big 35th birthday. If you (like pretty much all of us here at Captain Creps HQ) didn’t manage to secure a W, then you’re in luck, as it looks like the Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” is in the works. Giving the OG colourway a subtle yet striking refresh, here’s what you need to know.
Just like the “White Cement” from back in the day, these Air Jordans works on top of a “Summit White” tumbled leather base that’s soft and supple to the touch. However, while the rest of the palette remains the same, that’s where all the similarities seem to end. Not only do the elephant print overlays make their way to the front and back of the shoe, they also stampede to the lacing system as well.
“Fire Red” accents spice up the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, and this is complemented with red hot eyelets that run down the front of the sneaker. The inner lining is dipped in “Cement Grey,” and underfoot, the midsole is painted in a light cream hue, offering up a vintage vibe that looks like something straight out of the archives.
While these are just mock-ups, when the Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” finally releases sometime in 2024, it’ll look pretty similar to these initial shots. Let us know if you’ll be adding this to your collection, and if you want a pair in your rotation, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
