The ASICS UB10-S GEL-Kayano 20 “Hunter Green” is Inspired by Japanese Pottery

Kiko Kostadinov Studio and ASICS go way back. And for the power duo’s latest collaboration, they’ve conjured up the all-new ASICS UB10-S GEL-Kayano 20 “Hunter Green.” Blending art with performance, it’s apparently inspired by Japanese mino ceramics as well as themes of Interlaced Assemblages and Functional Utopias. That sounds like some very complicated stuff, so please don’t ask us what it means.

Working on top of a rich “Hunter Green” mesh base, the UB10-S GEL-Kayano 20 is overlaid by synthetic leather panels throughout for a premium look and feel. Vibrant yellow accents energise the design, appearing on the tongue pull, inner lining, and heel clip. And balancing these bold hues are muted beige tones on the toe cap and midsole, creating a refined and harmonious look.

A standout feature is the glittered gold GEL cushioning, which not only enhances comfort but also adds a subtle shine that elevates the overall appearance. Functionality is central to the design, with ASICS incorporating its signature technology to ensure a smooth and supportive ride. The trainer is then finished off with the Japanese sportswear giant’s legendary Tiger Stripes logo that pounces across the lateral and medial sidewalls.

Made in collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov and his artistic vision, the ASICS UB10-S GEL-Kayano 20 “Hunter Green” is unlike anything else out there. Dropping on November 10th, let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
