The Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina Puts a Spin on a Classic

Even though Bad Bunny is one of adidas‘ newer collaborators, there’s no denying that he’s one of the greatest ones of all time. After unleashing the Adizero SL 72 hybrid sneaker a few weeks ago, the King of Latin Trap is back, this time with the Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina.

If you’ve never heard of the Ballerina before, it’s basically an off-shoot of the ever-popular Taekwondo model. First seen at Paris Fashion Week when the Puerto Rican rapper himself was spotted in a pair, the sneaker comes in two colourways, including the clean “Off-White” and the slick “Core Black.” Both pairs work on top of textile bases, and they’re detailed with contrasting Three Stripes across the laterals and medials for that classic adidas look.

Suede overlays wrap around the toebox, lacing system and heel area. And just like Bad Bunny’s Gazelle Indoor, these are all mismatched and asymmetrical. Underfoot, you’ll find a super flat midsole, and to round it all off, “Benito” is stamped across the sides for a personal touch.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina is a must-have for fans of both the artist and adidas. Dropping sometime in May, let us know which colourway you’re feeling the most, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
