The DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign” is Red Hot

When it comes to collaborations with New Balance, DTLR is certainly no stranger to them. Over the past decade, the Maryland-based retailer has worked on everything from the 990v3 to the 2002R, and now, for the first time ever, it’s taking on the ever-popular 9060 with the DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign.” Extremely eye-catching especially when compared to its other NB kicks, here’s what you need to know.

Working on top of a ballistic mesh base, this is painted in a gradient that fades from yellow to red. It’s then overlaid by panels and panels of fiery suede, resulting in a spicy aesthetic that’s too hot to handle. It’s lively, it’s vivid, and it’s proof that New Balance has come a very long way since those boring grey dad shoes from the ’90s and ’00s.

To keep in line with the fire sign-inspired theme, this trainer is accented with metallic silver tape. The lateral “N” logos and rear “NB” badge are also decked out in this reflective finish. All of this then sits on top of a highly-sculpted ABZORB and SBS midsole, which has been speckled around the heel for added depth.

With its daring colour palette, reflective details, and iconic New Balance craftsmanship, the DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign” U9060DMG should not be missed. Set to release on November 17th, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
