The MRBAILEY x adidas Aruku Yagi reimagines the stacked walking shoe through a nature-inspired vision, blending innovation and storytelling in true MRBAILEY fashion. Translating to “Walking Goat” in Japanese, the sneaker draws from the agility and balance of mountain goats, who are built to move seamlessly across rugged terrain. Which is exactly what this shoe is going for. This connection extends from its inspiration to its name, celebrating adidas’ Japanese designer Toshiaki Omori, the mind behind the original Adizero concept.

The Aruku Yagi transforms the Adizero silhouette into something new. The sculpted sole mimics the geometry of cloven hooves, designed to encourage a natural rocking stride. A molded heel counter, asymmetric overlays, and speed lacing complete the look, making every detail feel like it has a purpose The triple black finish adds a refined, stealthy touch, while the marbled outsole and technical mesh upper bring a gorpcore edge.

The MRBAILEY x adidas Aruku Yagi is here to breath a bit of life into the Adizero Aruku. Dropping on November 3, via adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers. Let us know if you’re a fan!
