After a wave of darker tones more suited to winter, its refreshing to see some lighter shades hit New Balance’s latest silhouette. The New Balance 2010 Dusk Shower Timberwolf lands in a fresh Blue and cream combo as part of a wider “Clear Skies” collection.

The new colours do the heavy lifting here. dropping as part one of a four colourway pack all sharing the same Sky Blue theme. “Dusk Shower” light blue accents sit against Timberwolf suede overlays and a clean white mesh base. Soft blue brings air. The earthy beige grounds it underfoot, which is also seen on the 204L and T5000, also in the collection. This is an easy to pair with denim, cargos, or tailored trousers.

Up top, the diamond-knit mesh updates the formula, the suede overlays in Timberwolf frame the upper cleanly, adding depth without clutter and matching the creams and gum sole very tastefully.

Underfoot, its what you’d expect, the segmented ABZORB midsole absorbs impact. ABZORB SBS inserts in the heel and forefoot add extra stability and shock protection. All of which use that cream on blue theme that ties the whole shoe together.
