At the end of last year, Captain Creps got a sneak peek of the Nike 2024 sneaker line-up, and the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Las Vegas” was one of the pairs that caught our attention the most. Expected to drop as part of the hotly-anticipated “City Pack” which also includes the “Shanghai” and the “Seoul,” make sure you keep reading to find out everything that there is to know.
One of the first things that you’ll notice about these Air Force 1s is the gloriously glossy patent leather construction. Extending from the front all the way to the back, this entire sneaker is seriously slick. Working on top of a deep purple base, it’s overlaid by panels and panels of neon pink throughout as a nod to the Entertainment Capital of the World’s glitz and glamour.
A tumbled Swoosh glides through the lateral and medial sidewalls in a contrasting white hue, and as if this colourway wasn’t cool enough already, Nike has also added a special gold star dubrae across the lacing system to pay tribute to the Nevada city’s allure, while sparkly dices are intricately embroidered on the back side of the tongue.
Adding to the thematic design, the inside of the heel features the phrase “Read ‘em and weep,” a classic poker saying that hints at a winning hand. This detail not only adds character to the sneaker, but it’s also a homage to to Las Vegas’ famous gambling culture. All of this then rests on top of an Air midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets, finalising the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Las Vegas” is a celebration of the city’s vibrant spirit, combining bold colours with playful and meaningful details. Set to drop in sometime in Spring 2024, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for everything that you need to know.
