It looks like Nike is going all-out with its Valentine’s Day-themed collection this year. But while some sneakers like the Air Max 1 and the Cortez are big and bold, others, like the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Valentine’s Day,” keep it nice and simple.
From a distance, this Air Force 1 looks like just another classic Air Force 1. With its creamy colour palette, toebox perforations, and iconic Swoosh, it’s a tried and tested design that just works. But as soon as you take a closer look, you’ll immediately notice a bunch of loved-up details that you won’t find anywhere else. For instance, the sidewalls are decorated with a quarter of pink hearts, and the classic heel badge branding has been replaced with a single suede heart, all surrounding by a series of petal-like overlays.
Along the tongue, you’ll find an embroidered apple that nods to the phrase “the apple of my eye,” and this graphic can be found on the custom insole too. All of this then rests on top of an Air midsole, and it’s lined with a complementary pastel rubber outsole for added grip and traction.
