Every year, Nike celebrates Chinese New Year with a collection of limited edition sneakers. And for 2025, the American sportswear company is honouring the special occasion with the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Snake.” While this is a women’s exclusive release, that’s not going to stop some guys from squeezing into a pair.
Boasting a premium all-leather construction, this Air Force 1 works on top of a clean “Sail” base and is overlaid by “Light Brown” panelling throughout. A Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this is accented with fiery red stitching, which nods to the traditional Chinese colour for luck and fortune.
Two sets of laces tie everything together, with the bottom pair feature a rope-like design. This is bolstered with a snake-like dubrae that’s finished in “Metallic Gold.” Faux reptile print detailing descends upon the tongue tag, while a slithering pile of snakes are stamped on the heel badge. All of this then rests on top of a chunky Air sole, which is then lined with gum rubber for extra grip.
