Last summer, Nike took the wraps off of the Air Huarache Runner. This was, essentially, a modernised version of the classic silhouette, and it was met with widespread acclaim. Now that the model has been around for almost a year, the American sportswear company is ready to drop even more colourways, including the all-new Nike Air Huarache Runner “Glacier Blue.”
From a distance, the Air Huarache Runner looks like a completely different shoe. But as soon as you take a step closer, you’ll immediately spot the Huarache DNA running through it. Like the original, this one boasts a neoprene inner bootie in “White.” This is complemented by mesh underlays for breathability and comfort. Silver tumbled leather panels wrap around the rest of the upper, while “Glacier Blue” suede makes its way to the toebox, lacing system, sidewalls, and heel.
The legendary Air Huarache badge can be found on the tongue in “Dusty Cactus,” and this vibrant hue extends towards the heel. All of this then rest on top of a super plush Phylon foam midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets.
