One of the toughest things about being a sneakerhead is that, even though you may have hundreds and hundreds of pairs in your collection, it can still be pretty difficult to choose what to wear. Whether you’re just popping out to the shops for a pint of milk or heading to the pub, we all need that one shoe that’s reliable and dependable, and that we can wear every single day with no qualms. The upcoming Nike Air Huarache Runner “Light Iron Ore” wants to be that one shoe.
One of the latest colourways to hit the updated Air Huarache, the “Light Iron Ore” works on top of a ballistic mesh base and is overlaid by panels of suede. Dark grey leather elements feature throughout, and around the back, you’ll find a TPU heel counter that offers unrivalled support with every step. While this is clearly inspired by the OG from back in the day, it’s been fully reworked from the ground up.
The iconic “Air Huarache” badge adorns the tongue, and you’ll also find Nike Swooshes on the toebox, sidewalls, and back, just to remind that you that this is, indeed, a sneaker by the Beaverton sportswear giant. All of this sits on top of a chunky white foam midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets. It’s then lined with a slither of rubber, making them ideal for the wetter weather.
There’s no doubt that the Nike Air Huarache Runner “Light Iron Ore” is one of the most versatile shoes on the market. With a breathable construction and a perfectly cushioned midsole unit, you can rock these all-day, everyday, with no dramas attached. While a release date has yet to be officially confirmed, expect it to drop within the coming weeks!
