The Nike Air Max 1 “Olympic” is Going for Gold

As the world turns its attention to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games, Nike is also getting ready with a string of special edition drops. After checking out the “Escargot” and the “Safari Olympics” earlier this month, we’re now taking our first look at the Nike Air Max 1 “Olympic.” While it might look quite clean and simple, something tells us that this is going to be a future classic.

Working on top of a crisp “White” mesh base, this Air Max 1 is overlaid by panels and panels of light grey suede throughout. Bold “Obsidian” wraps around the mudguard, and the tongue tag and eyelets are dipped in “University Red.” Not only does this colour combo pay homage to the French capital, it’s also a tribute to Team USA.

Underfoot, the midsole is infused with Nike’s Air technology, and this legendary shoe is finished off with a metallic gold Swoosh that glides across the sidewalls, representing the prestigious gold Olympic medals that will be awarded to the sporting world’s finest athlete’s this summer.

Not much else is known about the Nike Air Max 1 “Olympic” at this moment in time, but according to our sources, it’ll drop within the coming months. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation, and make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
