The Nike Air Max 90 Drift “Orewood Brown” Gets a Mecha-Like Makeover

Even though the Air Max 90 has been around for over three decades, its overall design hasn’t really changed that much. But with the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 Drift “Orewood Brown,” it getting its most futuristic update yet.

While the Drift version retains the core identity of the original silhouette, it also introduces several contemporary updates. Working on top of an “Orewood Brown” ripstop nylon base, the details and panels are a lot sharper and more angular than before, resulting in an almost mecha-like appearance that’s unlike anything that we’ve ever seen.

New fabric pull tabs hit the tongue and heel for a gorpcore-ready look and feel, and underfoot, the Nike Air midsole has been beefed up for extra comfort and cushioning. This AM90 is then rounded off with a slick Swoosh that glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls in style.

The Nike Air Max 90 Drift in “Orewood Brown” promises both the nostalgic appeal of the original and the enhanced performance features suitable for today’s urban landscape. Expected to launch sometime this summer, so be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
