The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Total Orange” is a Blast from the Past

After decades and decades of waiting, Nike has announced that the legendary Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Total Orange” is finally making a comeback. Originally released back in the ’90s, this was marketed as a chunkier, comfier alternative to other silhouettes of the time. And with the resurgence of the Y2K sneaker aesthetic, there’s never been a better time to bring it back.

As you might have already gathered, the Air Max TL 2.5 takes inspiration from the iconic Air Max 97, complete with its full length Air Max midsole and wavy TPU overlays. The upper is crafted from a breathable cream mesh and is overlaid by black leather and silver accents throughout. Fiery “Total Orange” hues wrap around the mudguard, resulting in a look that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.

Branding plays a prominent role on this model, with multiple Swooshes and the signature “Max Air” logos adding to its old school appeal. The foam midsole ensures all-day comfort, while the full-length Air unit delivers responsive cushioning with every step.

If you want the Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Total Orange” in your collection then you need to liste up. Expected to drop sometime towards the end of the year, it’ll be available in limited numbers.
