The Nike Book 1 “Hike” is Wonderfully Wild

Devin Booker’s Nike Book is very quickly becoming one of the most hyped basketball silhouettes around, and it’s thanks to legendary colourways like the upcoming Nike Book 1 “Hike.” While most pairs like the “Ashen Slate” and “Light Orewood Brown” have been relatively minimal so far, this exotic edition is anything but. So, let’s check it out!

The “Hike” stands as a testament to the Phoenix Suns shooting guard’s deep-seated connection with nature, drawing inspiration from his encounters with the wilderness. The upper is decked out in premium “Dark Stucco” leather that has been specifically designed to resemble rattlesnake skin. This beastly material slithers from the front of the toebox, all the way to the back of the heel.

An oversized Nike Swoosh glides across the sidewalls in “Light Silver,” and in case you haven’t noticed it already, the collar is done up in a soft pony hair material that also nods to the wild. A layered pull tab features around the back to resemble a book, and this is embellished with “Chapter One” branding, reminding you that this is just the first part of a longer story. All of this then rests on top of a chunky Cushlon 2.0 foam midsole, which is bolstered by TPU for added support.

Scheduled to drop on April 6th, if you want the Nike Book 1 “Hike” in your collection this season, you need to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
