The Nike Dunk Low “Philly” is a Homage to the City of Brotherly Love

Nike has teamed up with Philadelphia-based boutiques Lapstone & Hammer and Creme to celebrate the vibrant spirit of the Philadelphia Phillies and their iconic mascot, the Philly Phanatic. The result is the Nike Dunk Low Premium “Philly,” a special edition trainer that perfectly blends streetwear culture with sports culture, creating a must-have for sneaker enthusiasts and Phillies fans alike.

Working on top of a pristine “White” tumbled leather base, this Dunk Low is complemented by hairy grey suede overlays, adding texture and depth to the overall design. The forefoot panels and Swoosh are both decorated with a unique grey splatter pattern – a love letter to the concrete skyline and pavements that are all prominent in the City of Brotherly Love.

Adding a burst of colour, the inner lining showcases a vibrant graphic that continues onto the tongue label. The heel tab proudly displays “PHILLY,” making a bold statement. The sneaker is then finished off with some green laces that are imprinted with the coordinates of Pennsylvania’s largest city, offering a nod to the location’s rich history.

With its mix of textures, vibrant colours, and thoughtful details, the Nike Dunk Low “Philly” is a must-cop. Dropping on May 30th at Lapstone & Hammer and Creme, it’ll then get a wider release on June 1st at the Phillies Team Store as well as DTLR.
