Back in the ’90s, Nike headed to Japan and released a bunch of cool sneakers that were made exclusively for the Asian country, including the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Curry.” Trainer fans outside of its borders were left sad and forgotten, but now, after 25 years, the legendary colourway is finally getting a global release. If you’ve always wanted to own one of the rarest Dunks of all-time, now’s your chance.
Boasting a full leather construction that’s very smooth and very supple to the touch, this Dunk Low works on top of a brown “Dark Curry” base and is overlaid by crisp “White” panels throughout, resulting in a contrast that is sure to turn heads. This clean hue extends towards the inner lining and Swoosh, which glides through the lateral and medial sidewalls.
Down below, the shoe rests on top of a rubber midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets. It’s then finished off with “Nike” embroidery both on the tongue tag and the heel badge, just like the original pair from back in the day.
As an added touch of authenticity, the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Curry” will be packaged in the classic Dunk style, appealing to collectors and long-time fans of the series. Set to drop on January 12 at selected Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com, make sure you keep it locked right here for your best chance to cop!
