The Nike Dunk Low “University Gold” Was Made for Your Summer Collection

If you thought the Dunk hype was over, you’d be very wrong. Back in 2020, Nike breathed new life into the ’80s basketball shoe, unleashing legendary colourways like the “Panda” as well as a vast selection of coveted collabs. Even though that was four years ago, the old school silhouette is still as popular as ever, and it’s thanks to pairs like the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “University Gold.”

Revealed as part of the Beaverton brand’s Spring 2024 collection, this Dunk Low is unlike anything else out there. While its “Coconut Milk” and “University Gold” palette may look strikingly similar to others like the “Laser Orange,” its construction couldn’t be more different. The base, for example, is crafted entirely from hemp, which is more sustainable and eco-friendly compared to other fabrics.

The overlays have also been upgraded with premium leather that extends from the toebox to the heel badge all the way to the Swoosh. Underfoot, the midsole is infused with cushioned rubber, but it’s then finished off with a gum outsole that’s perfect both on and off the basketball court. At the end of the day, while this trainer may look like others, it’s anything but.

The Nike Dunk Low “University Gold” is sure to turn heads wherever you go. Expected to drop sometime in Spring 2024, make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop.
