Even though winter has literally only just begun, Nike is already thinking ahead with the upcoming Nike Mac Attack “Lemon Venom.” Giving John McEnroe’s signature shoe a summer-ready makeover, it’s a new school colourway that old school sneakerheads will definitely be able to appreciate.
Up until this point, the Mac Attack has been revealed in a selection of very monochromatic colourways, such as the “Light Smoke Grey.” While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, sometimes you just want to add a pop of vibrant colour to your fits, and that’s where the “Lemon Venom” comes through.
Working on top of a crisp “White” mesh base, it’s overlaid by panels and panels of leather throughout. A series of perforations feature across the lateral and medial sides, and down below, you’ll find the classic rubber midsole, just like the one from back in the day. However, what sets this apart from the rest are the bright and bold yellow accents that make their way to the Swoosh, collar, and heel counter. While there’s not much of it, it makes all the difference.
Expected to drop on December 7th, while you probably won’t be wearing the Nike Mac Attack “Lemon Venom” over the next couple of months, as soon as the warmer seasons come around, your sneaker collection will thank you.
