Back in 2020, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chicago” dropped as part of the coveted J-Pack Series. This colourway was insanely hyped, not only because it released during the peak of the SB Dunk craze, but it was also directly inspired by the legendary Air Jordan 1 High of the same name. These sold out within seconds back in the day, but according to our sources, they’re set to restock very soon.
Working on top of a crisp white base, the “Chicago” is overlaid by fiery red panels throughout, and accented with black tones along the lacing system, heel, and Nike Swoosh. It’s an almost one-to-one remake of the classic Michael Jordan colour palette, all compacted into a low-top form.
But while it seems like it should be a basketball shoe, it’s fitted with all the details and tech that make the SB Dunk one of the best half pipe-ready silhouettes on the market. For instance, the tongue has been beefed up for additional comfort and cushioning, and the ankle is also chunkier for extra support. Down below, the midsole is infused with Zoom Air tech, making every kickflip and Ollie feel like you’re walking on a plush cloud. All of this is then lined with a grippy rubber outsole that’ll keep you on your board at all times.
If you took a L on the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chicago” four years ago, you need to listen up. Expected to restock sometime in April, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
