The Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Love” Arrives in a “Burgundy Crush” Colourway

Every year, the Beaverton-based sportswear giant reveals a wide selection of sneakers that are inspired by Cupid’s favourite day, and for 2024, it’s going all-out with romantic releases such as the Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Love.” Dropping as part of a much wider collection, keep reading to find out everything that you need to know.

Without going too in-depth into Chinese mythology, according to East Asian folklore, solemates are connected to each other via an invisible red cord known as the Red Thread of Fate. Whether you actually manage to find your other half is completely up to you, but when you do, you’ll be tied together until the end of time. Unlike the “Coconut Milk” version, the “Burgundy Crush” switches out the satin base in favour of buttery suede. Overlaid by panels of tumbled leather, this has got to be one of the most premium SB Dunks in a very long time. A Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and underfoot, the Zoom Air midsole is finished with a speckled effect for added depth.
