Nike‘s “Since ’72” range is very quickly becoming one of its largest and most diverse collections to date. After checking out the Air Force 1 and the Air Max 1 earlier this season (and with a Dunk Low also on the way), we’re now taking a look at the upcoming Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Since ’72.” The perfect tribute to the American sportswear company’s legacy, keep reading to find out everything that you need to know.
Working on top of a crisp “White” mesh base, this Zoom Vomero is overlaid by metallic silver leather overlays across the front, as well as some “Cream” suede accents throughout. A dash of “Thunder Blue” strikes the midfoot cage, and this unique shade extends towards the Swoosh as well.
Around the back, the “Since ’72” is fitted with a geometric heel counter, and all of this sits on top of a Cushlon foam midsole. To make this sneaker even more comfortable, the American sportswear company has infused it with Zoom Air technology, resulting in an extra bit of bounce with every step.
It’s no secret that this old school silhouette is one of the most hyped models of the past few months. First introduced all the way back in 2011, it was eventually shelved and brought back in 2019, and shelved once more and brought back in 2023. If you want to find out more about the Zoom Vomero 5, here are five things that you probably didn’t know.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Since ’72” is scheduled to drop sometime in Summer 2024. Expected to be quite limited, make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
