The Pokémon x adidas ZX 8000 “Mewtwo” Is Built for Collectors

A new Pokémon x adidas ZX 8000 has surfaced, and it leans fully into Mewtwo’s presence. The colour blocking pulls from the character’s design, pairing soft pink panels with deeper purple accents across the toe, Three Stripes, and inner lining. Mewtwo’s portrait sits proudly on the tongue, framed by Pokémon branding, while “MEWTWO” lettering runs cleanly along the lateral side. Eyes appear near the lace stays. The heel takes shape with sculpted elements that echo Mewtwo’s ears, giving the shoe a slight three-dimensional edge.

Flip to the medial side and the storytelling continues. A faint graphic of Mew is worked into the midfoot, inside, co-branding lands on the sockliner, while a Master Ball lace dubrae finishes things off.

The ZX 8000’s layered build and firm tooling keep everything grounded. Release details remain unconfirmed, but current expectations point to a Fall 2026 launch. For Pokémon fans this looks set to be one of the more character-driven adidas collaborations on the horizon.
