The Reebok BB 4000 II Mid “Alien Romulus” is Out of This World

With Alien: Romulus set to hit the silver screen this week, Reebok has taken the wraps off of the special edition Reebok BB 4000 II Mid “Alien Romulus.” Back in 1986, the sportswear company unleashed the original “Alien Stomper” to coincide with the release of the second Aliens movie. So, in many ways, this BB 4000 II Mid collection is the spiritual successor to this.

A combination of the past, present, and future, BB 4000 II Mid draws heavily from Reebok’s ’80s basketball lineup, particularly the BB series. Featuring a premium all-leather upper, each and every panel has been meticulously pre-distressed to mimic the wear and tear expected from battling Xenomorphs. This rugged finish gives the sneaker an authentic, battle-hardened look that fans of the franchise will definitely appreciate.

Reebok didn’t just stop at aesthetics though, because this trainer also boasts a two-strapped ankle lockdown system. The EVA foam midsole provides cushioned support, while the solid rubber cupsole ensures durability and traction, making it a practical choice for everyday wear or for those looking to channel their inner space marine.

A standout feature of the “Alien Romulus” is the inclusion of the Weyland-Yutani logo, prominently displayed on the heel and tongue, serving as a subtle yet ominous reminder of the franchise’s deep lore. This attention to detail extends to the hidden Easter eggs embedded within the sneaker, offering dedicated fans a deeper connection to the Alien universe.

The Reebok BB 4000 II Mid “Alien Romulus” is set to drop on August 27th, and is expected to be quite limited. Let us know if you’ll be adding it to your collection, and make sure to stay tuned to Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
