Salehe Bembury has got to be one of the busiest guys in the sneaker industry right now. Just days after taking the wraps off of his brand new Crocs Pollex Juniper Sneaker as well as his collaboration with legendary graffiti artist Futura, the New York City-based fashion designer has now revealed the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Saru. The next chapter in this legendary partnership, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
The Saru is set to be the fourth original silhouette to drop as part of the Pollex series, following the Clog, Slide, and the aforementioned Juniper. This model boasts more-or-less the same DNA, with a full Croslite foam construction that’s both comfort and lightweight. However, unlike his previous pairs, the upper actually bears a striking resemblance to Crocs‘ in-line collection, complete with perforations to attach all of your precious Jibbitz.
But, as soon as you move towards the midsole section, you’ll immediately spot Bembury’s signature fingerprint motif that has played a leading role in the majority of his collabs, from Moncler all the way to New Balance. The Saru is then finished off with co-branding throughout, and comes packed in a special, 100% recyclable shoebox.
Not much else is known about the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Saru at this moment in time, but it should drop before summer in a vast selection of different colourways. Let us know what you think of this all-new silhouette, and make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop.
