The Simpsons x adidas Collection Pays Tribute to Springfield’s Finest

Since 2021, adidas has teamed up with legendary animated sitcom The Simpsons, merging the realms of pop culture and sportswear. As we approach the end of the year, this collaboration remains strong, producing footwear for both diehard fans and the uninitiated. Following the release of the meme-inspired Stan Smith earlier this season, the duo are back with a full The Simpsons x adidas collection that’s guaranteed to make its way to every Springfield stan’s rotation.

The Simpsons x adidas NMD G1 “Homer Simpson”

As mentioned already, Homer Simpson has already made his mark on the adidas Stan Smith this year. However, he’s now ready to make an even bigger statement with the very aptly named The Simpsons x adidas NMD G1 “Homer Simpson.” Boasting a bright yellow Primeknit upper that inspired by his skin tone, the light brown suede across the laterals and medials gently nods to his stubble. Bright blue accents hit the sidewalls and all of this sits atop a full length Boost midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets. D’oh!

The Simpsons x adidas adiFOM Superstar “Clouds”

The Simpsons’ title sequence is instantly recognisable to fans. Playing on this, adidas has given the brand new adiFOM Superstar a complete cloud makeover. Designed for everyday comfort, the sneaker-clog hybrid is reminiscent of the cartoon’s opening, with a predominantly blue base that’s dispersed by a series of plump, fluffy clouds.

The Simpsons x adidas Forum Low “Living Room”

Few settings are as iconic in The Simpsons as the family’s living room. This space, rich in history, has now been captured by the adidas Forum Low. This trainer uses a mix of suede, leather, corduroy, and chenille to mirror the space’s aesthetic. Colours from bright turquoise and pink to muted browns combine to recreate the setting. There’s incredible attention to detail, with the living room’s sailboat painting on the tongue, a graphic of the family dog on the heel, and the couch’s signature look on the shoe’s inner lining.
