At the end of 2022, Nike took the wraps off of its .SWOOSH Web3 platform. Introduced with the wildly-successful “Tinaj,” it looks like this iconic trainer is finally getting a follow-up with the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 “404 Error.” While this is every sneakerhead’s dream, it also happens to be every computer technician’s worst nightmare.
Blending the digital space with the physical realm, unlike other Air Force 1s out there, this one features a seamless one-piece construction that looks and feels extremely futuristic. Even the Swooshes across the sidewalls and the legendary heel badge have been removed in favour of a super sleek aesthetic. “Racer Blue” hues take over the entire patent upper as a nod to the infamous blue screen of death that we’re all used to from older computer models, and this theme is strengthened by the addition of the “404 Error” message around the lateral section.
All-white cotton laces tie everything together, and this is complemented by a pair of Air midsoles underfoot. These are then lined with an icy blue rubber outsole, adding to the virtual vibe.
The .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error” is set to be released sometime in Summer 2024 and is expected to sell out within seconds of dropping. For your best chance to cop, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps!
